DROPS Nepal is a wonderful, thick luxury yarn spun from 35% superfine alpaca and 65% sheep's wool. In this blend, the silky softness of alpaca comes to the fore, while the wool contributes to the dimensional stability of the garments. Both fibers are untreated, meaning they have only been washed before dyeing and not chemically pre-treated. This brings out the natural properties of the fibers best and results in a better fit and texture.

DROPS Nepal is spun from three strands and produces a rustic and beautiful stitch pattern. The yarn is easy to work with for both knitting and crocheting and is also well suited for felting. The felted pieces have an even and soft surface.

DROPS Nepal also includes some mix colors. This effect is achieved by mixing different colors during carding before the yarn is spun.
