DROPS Big Merino is a yarn spun from many thin individual strands of 100% extra fine merino wool, which gives the yarn its elasticity. DROPS Big Merino is also characterized by its softness, volume and even stitch definition, making it ideal for textured patterns such as cables.
Due to the special structure of the yarn, it is particularly important to maintain the exact gauge - if in doubt, choose a tighter gauge rather than a looser one. Thanks to the superwash treatment, DROPS Big Merino is machine washable and therefore suitable for everyday use, but please be sure to follow the care instructions for this yarn when washing your garments and wash clothes made from it carefully.
The fibers of DROPS Big Merino come from the wool of free-range, mulesing-free animals from South America and the yarn is certified with the Oeko-Tex 100 standard.
Please note that colors may appear differently depending on screen settings, and colors may also show slight differences depending on the dye lot.
